The trail starts at Equicampo, next to the river, heading towards Fraga do Suadouro and then Penedo Rachado using an old shepherds path. On the slightly steep climb, the stops are mandatory to rest, but mainly to enjoy the panoramic view of the village of Campo do Gerês. The high point of the trail is the possibility to observe from the top of Fraga do Sarilhão the entire Vilarinho das Furnas valley.
