Beginning and ending at Parque Cerdeira, follows a small section of Via Romana (Geira) between miles XXVIII and XXXI, where there is a leafy oak forest (Quercus robur), forming an environment rich in biodiversity, even overlooking the Vilarinho das Furnas reservoir. Then it crosses a beautiful forest of arbutus (Arbutus unedo), just below the emblematic Fraga de Sarilhão, a place where the Royal Eagle used to nest.
